ok Ive been logging in everything ive eaten the past 5 days. Ok everyday except once ive been way under calories which is great but yet ive not lost even a lb. ok I know ive not ate the healthiest foods this week planning to do better starting tomorrow when I can actually go to the store. but what am I doing wrong. even if its not healthy foods im still under calories so you would think i would still lose something. now today is the only day that I drank a soda from kfc, most days all I drink is water but our Beckley is under a boil advisory thing so no one is drinking the water from food places and they were out of bottles. I normally don't snack but I did a few times this week which still ive been way under my calories. ive exercised a few times but not much so ive not really been entering anything in for that. im like just so upset thinking ok ive done real good this week but then when I weighed today seen I hadn't lost anything makes me wanna give up. could the scales be wrong.

    First breathe lady.

    See not so bad.

    Two questions.

    1. How long have you been at this.
    2. How often do you weigh yourself?

    5 days?

Continue eating at a calorie deficit for 4 weeks. Then assess.

First - five days. Patience grasshopper.

Second - how accurate is your logging? Is there a food scale involved? Do you enter your own recipes? Accurately track exercise calories if you eat them back?

Third - Sounds like you eat a lot of fast food which equals a lot of sodium. That's going to likely bring some water retention into play.

Fourth - five days. Patience. Seriously - you didn't gain the weight in 5 days. Keep at it and you'll get there.
