hello everyone :)
I'm sorry if this question is somewhere else :) I can't afford gym so at the moment I walk dog, have a few DVDs and elliptical (cross trainer) which I'm starting to do 30mins and hopefully going to build it up! Will all of this be enough to loose weight? With a good diet! Also my thighs and calves are quite large would any of them help to decrease the size of them? I hate them

I'm down 15 lb since starting here, it's slow but continual progress. I haven't worked out anywhere but my living room and I don't even have an elliptical or a dog :)

Nothing will decrease the size of you anywhere except losing fat, and you won't be able to guide where the fat goes away from first or even second or third.

As I'm sure everyone else here will tell you - the only thing you need to lose weight is a calorie deficit. But I am loving getting stronger and building my endurance while I work on that weight loss.

Weighing and tracking your food and ensuring you are eating at a calorie deficit will help you lose weight no matter where you are excercising....it is also the only thing that will truly help decrease the size of thighs, calves, bellies, etc....

Excercising will help you tone and add strength which is also super important...I love planks, crunches, wall sits and others to compliment cardio!
