When MFP says after you track your Food and Exercise you will weight so much after 5 weeks if you eat the same way each day is this close to the truth or not?

It depends on your circumstances. You could try to keep track of it if you wanted to. Write down what it says you'll weigh in 5 weeks, eat like that every day for 5 weeks, and then see if the numbers match at the end of that 5 weeks.

I think it depends. If you spend tme eating the same calories that exceeds the 1200 (or whichever calorie range u are) then yes.. you will gain weight.. Been there.. Learned from it.. lol..

wrong......if I ate 1200 calories 5 weeks in a row, it would be 5 weeks not the 8 months it has really taken.......

It's based on your deficit. So if you are at a 500 calorie deficit this day, it will come out to 3500 calories (1 lb) a week and say you will have lost 5 lbs in 5 weeks. Weight loss isn't always linear though so it may or may not turn out to be accurate 5 weeks later.
