Protein/ dariy cravings late at night

Has anyone else had trouble with this? I wake up around 1 or 2 in the morning craving cheese and lunch meat. I have made sure to include plenty of dairy in my daily diet and sufficient protein in my last meal/ snack of the day (to try to prevent the cravings). I still cannot shake them! Any tips or suggestions? Is this just a willpower thing or could it be that I really do need more dairy/ protein throughout the day?

Thanks!

You're better off with protein cravings than with carb/fat cravings lol!
As long as you're within your kcal goal, you can enjoy those snacks. If you still wanna get rid of the habit, perhaps you should try to eat more for dinner so that you feel full?

Haha, yeah, I guess protein cravings would be better to have. I think I'm going to try to up the protein at night a little more. I am not hungry when I have the cravings... just a desire. Thanks!
