I'm more of a soda drinker than a water drinker. Had cut down on my soda drinking down to 2-4 12 oz cans or 2-4 12oz bottles from 5-6 12oz cans or 5-6 12oz bottles what can I do to increase it without having calories added to it

I take a quart sized water bottle with lemon water to class everyday at 9 and finish it by noon when my first 2 classes are done. I then refill it and drink it throughout the rest of the day. One quart is 4 cups so that gives me 8 cups a day. Quit soda last year, had one the other day and found I no longer even like the stuff! Sugar addiction is a real thing!

Soda was a big thing for me before I started. After a week or so of switching to diet soda, I find it hits the spot just as well. I'll have the occasional can of regular just for that little extra though, but am always able to squeeze it into my calorie limits.

I put fruit slices (strawberries, raspberries, oranges...), mint leaves, and I've started drinking tea. It helps bridge the gap between soda and water. When you drink more water you will feel amazing, trust me! I feel so much better and my skin looks amazing!

I've almost completely eliminated soda from my diet which I originally thought would be impossible. I really did feel addicted to Dr Pepper. Now I can pretty much say no and have maybe 1, once a week, when I go out with my husband if I don't feel like having an alcoholic beverage.
