Someone told me carbonated water is bad for your teeth? Is that true? Because I kind of drink it in place of normal water...

So, I asked my dentist about this. He said that yes, it is worse for your teeth than plain water, but stil WAY better than soda and probably better than juice.
One thing you can do to mitigate the affects is to take a mouthful of plain water after you finish the sparkling one.0 -
Carbonated water is higher acidity than fully neutral non-fizzy water. (Dissolving CO2 in water makes it acidic.) So it is marginally worse for your teeth than regular water. If you're really worried about it, rinse your mouth with regular water or brush your teeth when your meal is over and you'll be fine.0
