Back to work again... lots of sitting

I am working at a local museum, and sitting or standing still a lot. BUT we do have stairs. And I CAN walk to the post office, if I choose to. Sooooo I am back to watching my calories and trying to get motivated. Workout dvd was good for a little while, but I just would rather move in my normal day. I'd like to get back down to 140 just for stinks and giggles. But really, I want to prevent getting back up to 166, like I was working for the County! People know I can't eat wheat, so because they want to be "NICE" to me, they bring in candy. Sigh. And I can't walk away (easily). So yesterday I ate about 6 mini candy bars. Barf. No one to blame but me. LOLOL Anyone feel my pain?

Recent studies show we have to get up and walk around a bit...even if its in one small area - once every hour - to keep our bodies buzzing. I have a sit down job but at this age...I am kinda glad. I had a very physical career for 30 years and I would rather not do that anymore.
