I'm new to this and currently way over 200lbs or 14 stone 7lbs in the UK. I have been obese for quite a long time now and really just need to start focusing on losing weight for myself. to look better about myself and basically just realising that you don't I can't see comfort in food any more. whether anybody reads this or not it's fine but I just need to do get going really and do it for myself and hopefully I can look back on this in a little while and realise that I have stuck to my goals and will be losing weight and being healthy and that's it so hello if you're reading this, good luck on your fitness journey!

Good luck to you. You definitely can do it. I was 187 lbs in 2009 and got down to 135 in a year. Over the course of the last two years I found myself at 161. I've worked my butt off this week over spring break and am at 153 lbs. I think small goals are better. My goal is 150 and I've got three days to go. Good luck to you. It's not that bad when you get into the groove of it.0

Hi there. This is my 2nd attempt at fitness pal and I think so far it is working out much better this time. I started out at 169 lbs and my goal is to lose 40 lbs. I'm only 4 ft 9 in so I'm definitely overweight. I've lost close to 5 lbs so far and it feels like I'm really accomplishing something...taking it one day at a time!0
