Strained thigh muscle, exercise that doesn't use legs?

A few days ago I over did it and strained the back of my thigh. I have only done a 30 minute light yoga workout since, but am frustrated as I need to get in some serious exercise without re injuring the muscle. Does anyone have any at home work out routines for cardio or strength training the doesn't require putting work/strain/weight on the legs? I usually do work out videos off of you tube. I have sets of 5 and 10 lb dumbbells and an exercise ball.

I have the same problem... I strained my hamstring really bad about a month ago and it still hasnt healed. I've just done upper body weight workouts. But it sucks to not be able to burn calories with cardio0

Jillian Michaels says boxing workouts with a stationary lower body.0

This happened to me a few days ago. I love exercise, but I backed off completely for two days. Yesterday was my first workout back, and I took today off other than a walk, just to see how it felt. I'll go back to my schedule tomorrow, but I'm really glad I took the time to recover. Better not to aggravate it and let it heal properly than to push yourself into a serious injury.0
