hello everyone, mornings for me are usually very rushed and I've been trying to find a meal replacement shake but none that I've liked so far. I went to GNC today and try to sample of their cinnamon meal replacement drink which was good but probably not something I would want for breakfast. I'm not picky but I would rather have something that is chocolate or vanilla, does anyknow of a good meal replacement shake that tastes somewhat decent? I appreciate any suggestions that you can give me :-)

Why don't you just make your own juice or smoothie?0

I sold MR and they are horrible for you. Pack breakfast the day before. You can create baggies of on the go foods. Stay away from these powders, they contain metals and synthetic additives.0

Thanks, yes I actually did make my own the last couple of mornings. I guess the only downfall for me with that is my kids end up always eating the fruit I buy even if I buy some just for them. I'll figure that out though because it was really good. I need to start preparing and getting a system down with my work schedule that would be nice just to grab and go in the mornings!! Thanks to you both0

Make an egg bake on Sunday and cut into portions for each day of the week. Pull it out of fridge and microwave each day.0

I use isagenix meal replacements shakes for mornings because I'm too busy to make anything else. They are very yummy and full of nutrition as well.0

Premier proteins old at Costco or Sams are pretty decent. High protein, low sugar, low carb. It's my go to on crazy days!0

I've done that and it works really well! I baked mine in a muffin tin and kept them in a container in the freezer at work. They really seem to keep me full, too.0 -

I would try a couple of things. First I would try to figure out why mornings are so rushed and work to change that. Going to bed to late? Getting up with not enough time to properly care for food and self? Lack of organization? I'd try to make adjustments because a rushed morning leads to a stressed day. I try to lay out my clothes, pack my school bag, and have all of the next day's food ready before I go to bed. Then in the morning, I pack my daily food bag with: a snack baggie with two slices of pre-cooked bacon, 1/3 cup of granola to pour over my microwaved cinnamon apple slices (which are already in a plastic container. I add the container of whatever I'm having for lunch. All my food for breakfast and lunch can be in the car in under 5 minutes.0

Well I don't think I can get rid of why my Mornings are rushed they are called my children, sometimes they want to get up sometimes they don't. One can do for himself while my daughter needs my help to get her ready. Then it's off to school and daycare, then work for myself. If I'm up late it's usually because I have a sick child, or I'm getting things done around the house that sometimes you have to do after your kids go to sleep. I work in the medical field so there are also times where I have to go in earlier or leave later than usual. I definitely don't lack organization skills or I wouldn't be able to find a way to do what I do on a daily basis, AAU basketball practices, tournaments, teen church groups with kiddos, gym time, homework, clean house, cook, dance classes, and out of house around 6 am every morning. Not to mention I do this on my own. Thanks for your advice though.0
