ITS NEVER TOO LATE

Almost a serial dieter for most of my life and now this is the last chance saloon!! I am doing this with two daughters who also need to lose some weight - I have a lot to lose. The word diet has disappeared from my vocabulary an we are looking at good and healthy eating. We have chosen the 5:2 fasting way of eating and it will be interesting to see how it affects our eating and thinking over time. I have seen results and personally think that depriving the body of food for a while is probably the best way of counting calories!! WE drink a lot of liquids during the day - I like green tea with fresh ginger and lemon with some honey and to support me, my husband makes a large jug every day. I have one nespresso coffee with soya milk generally during the day and avoid invitations out to lunch on fast days - I am not testing my resistance just yet!! I am less .8kg so far (about 2lbs) and am feeling very relaxed. So, that's about it for today and looking forward to using the support of MyFitnessPal
