ok, I'm wondering about something. My daughter and I have been walking in the mornings. We both wear a hrm.
I am:
40 years, 273 pounds, resting heart rate according to fitbit is 65. sedentary lifestyle (hoping to change that!), wears a fitbit.
Daughter is:
16 years, 179 pounds, resting heart rate unknown, not sedentary but not a lot of exercise, wears a hrm around rib cage.
my heart rate when we arrived home was 115. Daughters heart rate was 145. We walked together, same pace so why such a difference?
Thanks for any replies!

Its age. Max heart rate declines on average about one beat per year. So don't compare absolute HR but rather percentage of max. Given the difference in ages I would guess you were both at a similar percentage of max HR.0
