Ok I constantly see stuff about preworkouts and protein powders. What's the deal with them? Good, bad? Is there a noticeable difference with them?

Protein powders are just a convenient and relatively fast way of getting protein in on the go. Isn't a magic supplement, just helps. Sometimes peoples stomachs don't agree with whey, but you can get other proteins like beef and soy.
Preworkouts I'm not so sure about, I've never taken one, but I'm waiting on mine to arrive. I went with C40 -
C4 is supposedly amazing! My BF loves the stuff. And i know a few people who swear by a preworkout but ive yet to try it. Im always scared of palpitations lol. But bf tells me when you buy a quality one, that wont happen.
I do drink a whey protein shake with pb2 post workout and on days i need more protein.0 -
I don't use them pre-workout because I have time to get protein through food. A lot of times, use some post workout because I don't have time.
I use Optimum Nutrition.0 -
I have a rough time finding the energy needed to have a good workout, C4 preworkout is wonderful on the really hard days! Protein shakes are my "on the go" breakfast on school days.0
