Last week, I had to buy boot calf extenders because my calves are now so big that I can't zip up my boots.
Hi, I downloaded the app yesterday and am really hoping that the social aspect of this site will make the difference.
I just turned 40. I weigh 195lbs, wear a U.S. size 14. My body feels so foreign to me. My face is so fat that I don't recognize myself in the mirror anymore. My goal is to get back into single digit sizes. Emotionally, every day is a struggle. I feel invisible.
I think I gained weight out of loneliness and disappointment. I want to change.
The food diary was a revelation. I had no idea I was eating that much (and yesterday was a "good" day!)....yikes. Scary. I'm hoping that tools like this will help me lose the 70lbs I'd like to shed. (Looking forward to feeling my collarbone, waist and hip bones again....and zipping up my boots normally.)
So far I'm enjoying reading the motivation posts and learning from everyone's tips.
