Is it okay to eat fast food?

I rarely ever eat fast food. The only fast food place I really eat at is Subway, maybe once a week. Sometimes, I feel like eating a breakfast sandwich, or an order of small fries, or some nuggets, but I'm afraid that's going to backtrack me all the way back to my original weight and I don't want that!

Is it okay to indulge in such bad food every once in a while? I'm talking like, maybe once a month.

It's not 'bad food' and once a month is nothing

I eat fast food like once a week. I check my calories, know what I have available, and choose accordingly. Many fast food restaurants have their nutrition info available online, so it is easy to plan it into your day. Just remember that sodium levels will be high. I don't necessarily have a problem with sodium, but some do. I've lost more weight than I planned to, so it is possible:)

as long as you are monitoring your calories input if you are on the path to weight loss and are generally keeping a healthy diet balance, i see no reason not to have fast food occasionally

Fine just watch what it is ..portion size and frequency ..a lot of placys have healthier options but I still wouldn't classify it as healthy

My major problem with eating out in general is the sodium content. Subway, for example, has some good sandwiches, but because it uses processed meats, the sandwiches are high in sodium. If you are like me -- high blood pressure and a tendency to retain fluid from too much sodium, you should try to limit eating out.

Once a month is nothing. Enjoy it, try to fit it into your daily goals, and then move on! =)
