hey! Add me as a friend. I have an open diary so you can see the weird stuff I eat while being on keto. Down 5-6% body fat since December. :)

    Hhmmmm. I'm actually trying to lose these last 6 pounds and it's tough. Wonder if I should give this a try. So does your diet consist if avocados, nuts, etc? What els?

    Well i did a keto cut for 12 weeks and now I'm reverse dieting and adding carbs back in. But when I was on Keto my main source of carbs were veggies with a lot of fiber (nothing from below the ground like sweet potatoes and strayed away from carrots too), meats, SALMON <3, I would have had dairy if I wasn't lactose intolerant. I had A LOT of nuts. It made up ⅓ of my calories often times. I love avocados and eggs but gotta keep an eye on carbs in avocados. Cacao and chia are good forms of fat with not too many carbs. When in keto you count net carbs. Carbs - fiber = net carbs. Always stay below 50g but I often times tried to hit 20-30g. I ate huge spinach & lettuce salads (topped with mushrooms broccoli olive oil and bacon) to trick myself that I was eating a lot when my calorie deficit was large. Experimented with bullet proof coffee for a month. (MCT oil, grass fed butter, coffee blended) Ate lots of saturated fats which may not be the healthiest but as long as you're low carb it's not bad for you. Lots of controversy on that matter. I'd sometimes try to fit a kind bar in my macros and would be fine.
