Was diagnosed with this so of course the doc said to lose some weight & lower cholesterol.
I can't stand the word "diet" & won't go on one. Been there, done that, never works. I live by myself & hate to cook, but I really like a lot of healthy foods. Just need some ideas on what to eat b/c if I find something I like I could eat it every day & I'm sure that's not good. Can I just mainly eat salads, beans, fresh fruits & veggies, fish, like canned salmon, etc., & get any results by just eating healthy. It has to have better results than the way I was eating, from the freezer to the microwave usually. Just some ideas what to avoid & what to eat. Remember, if it takes much preparation, it probably won't get done. Thanks

You can eat any food. It's about eating at a calorie deficit, not about eating x and y. Your account set-up here would have given you a calorie goal to lose weight at whatever rate you chose, so as long as you eat that many calories you'll lose weight. The faster you lose, the less enjoyable it will be, so usually 1lb/week is more than enough.
