Running with flat feet!! Please help! Do shoe inserts help? Padding? What type are shoes are the best for low arches? I'm struggling bc I really want to enjoy running but my left foot inside the arch (only the left one) hurts. UGH!

I suggest visiting an actual running store where they do a whole evaluation and can create custom soles and recommend the best shoe for you. I went to roadrunner and wow what a difference it makes to be wearing the right shoe. It was an investment for sure, but 12 pounds lighter and feet being pain free is worth it to me!0

have you been to a podiatrist?0

Go and get a gait analysis done at a proper running store; they'll take the time to fit you up properly, and usually the analysis is free if you buy the shoes after.
I've got really screwy ankles, so running was always painful; properly fitted/supported shoes make a HUGE difference.0
