Does 'spinning' increase your weight like bulk u up /muscle I'm trying to loose weight but suddenly I have taken a liking for this in the gym thank you in advance

    I haven't experienced that. I have seen my thigh measurement go down though from 31 inches to 29.5 - I do spin 2x a week, plus other exercises like squats (sorta) and the elliptical. I'm going to start riding my outdoor bike this week too.

    Sorry for my bitchiness.

    My real answer - I've read that article online too that it will "bulk" your thighs. I've been doing 5-8 spin classes every week for the last three years and my thighs are smaller than they were in junior high. So I would say, spin away.

    I know I read that when I started doing it last year too. I have no idea what those articles are about. Maybe those ladies were in a calorie surplus and lifting. No clue.
