How many Calories should I be eating per day? Please help :)

Hi there folks,
I'm a 5ft2" female, HW was 175lbs, LW was 128lbs, CW is 142lbs.
I'm looking to lose around 25lbs which will put me at around 118lbs-119lbs which is equivalent to 8 and half stone.
I'm unsure on whether I should keep my calories low (around 1200 kcal), lower or higher than that? Regardless of the intake, I try to keep my carb intake relatively low by eating no bread, crisps, sweets, chocolate, potatoes rice or pasta - just 15g of porridge, some dairy products, berries and some starchy vegetables!
I haven't done too much exercise but I started the Jillians 30 Day Shred today and intend to keep it up for the next 300 days. I also walk 1-2 miles a day which I hope to improve on over the next few weeks.
Hoping people can give me advice on what calorie intake was suitable for them to follow when trying to lose that last 20lbs or so of fat!
