Link MapmyRide to MyFitness?

So....day one.
I have recorded today's food and drink so far on MFP.
I have recorded my cycle commute in MapMyRide.
MapmyRide says it is synced/connected to MyFitness....but I can't see anywhere in MyFitness that these really are linked?
Shouldn't I see my exercise recorded in MFP somewhere?
I have added the cycle manually....but I thought there was more magic than that?
