I don't mean y our weight loss goal,
I mean a goal you hope to achieve while on your journey.

I would love to be able to walk up a flight of stairs without having to catch my breath.
I would also like to fit in an amusement park ride.

When I started my goal was to be able to get out of bed and not be in pain 99% of the day.

    Abs.

    Abs is(are?) the goal.

    Visible, hard abs, washboard mid-section.

    I don't care about weight.

    Mission accomplished.

Pretty much just having a better waistline so I can tuck in a shirt and feel comfortable. I don't care about a flat stomach or visible abs but I'd like to be a bit less convex in that area.

To never worry if I'll need a seat belt extender on an airplane ever again.

my goal was to stop being sick and tired...it was awful...

I am no longer sick and tired...too much energy sometimes...

next goal...have it so my husband and son aren't sick and tired (trust me they are all the time) but I can't force them so hoping seeing me will spur them on.

Good goals. Looking back, I realize how crummy I felt all of the time. No specific illness, just general crumminess, soreness, etc. I was like an 85 year old in a 30-something body. Not anymore, I feel great.

To have enough energy to play with my kid at the end of the day.
To not get diabetes (this isn't a sure thing so I am going to work on my end (food, exercise, weight) and be OK if my body decides not to get on board).
    To put myself first.

My goals this year are to do a pull-up, complete the C25K challenge, deadlift 100 lbs (almost there) and squat 100 lbs.

Last year my goal was to complete a triathlon which I did! Then I had surgery (completely unrelated to the tri) so it was back to square one this January.

To look smoking hot in yoga pants and sports bra. Maybe even wear it in public (while exercising of course)

To be able to eat foods without worrying about the sodium count. Not going to happen though.

    1. For my kids to think I am pretty
    2. For my in-laws to not look down on me for being the fat ugly one
    3. For my family to acknowledge that I am more than "just smart"
    4. To feel confident
    5. To have a healthy complication free pregnancy
    6. To push myself farther than I thought was possible

Not have to shop at the Big and Tall section and pay more for clothes. Sleep without a CPAP machine.

To not be the slow one when walking with others.
To have my waist and hips be in the same pants size.
To buy one outfit from the store that never had larger sizes.

I'd like to not be overweight by BMI. I also have one last pair of jeans I still can't fit into, that I really would like to wear again.

I'd like to be able to run a mile. I haven't even began to try for that.

I think it'd be totally awesome if I could rock a few pull ups one day too.

I have hit my weight loss goal (yeah!) so now my next two immediate goals are to lose some more belly fat and to do a pull-up. My upper body strength is atrocious but I am making strides and I actually have definition now in my biceps, triceps and shoulders BUT I am still a ways away from that unaided pull-up. My belly fat is stubborn, thanks to 2 c-sections and genetics. I am 120 lbs and a size 4 and yet this pooch is not budging. My next step is to eliminate grains (Wheat Belly anyone?) but I HATE to go to that step!

I just want to have a flat tummy again. I just want to be able to sit down w/o having to hide my belly with my purse. So embarrassing because I know people can tell what I'm trying to do. *sigh*

I want to be able to go running in the summer in my shorts and sports bra. It gets hot, my shirt gets drenched, and I want to be able to run in a sports bra without my stomach flapping around.

To look like I actually belong with my husband, and not look like a dependa ( military wives know). I feel like I've reached that goal. Next I would like to pass the Marine Corps PFT, just to say I can. And to be a good role model for my little girl, she actually joined me for part of my workout the other day, which made me a proud mommy.

    Me too.

When I started here my main goal was to gain/maintain muscle mass and bone density.

Now that I've fallen in love with lifting, I want to look like someone who lifts.

And: 1) do a hanging leg raise without looking like a praying mantis being electrocuted 2) do a pullup.

To be a healthy and active role model for my 4 year old daughter. Also, to squeeze back into my size 4 jeans. :)
