Hypothyroidism - questions to ask the doctor

Hi all
last month I had a lood test that flagged some underactive thyroid issues and the doctor prescribed a month's worth of tablets with a request to have a new blood test after 3 weeks (yesterday) and then see him again after the results came back.
My question here is - if the results still show issues are there any specific questions I should be asking at my appointment?. I haven't had this issue before so really have no clue
Thanks

When I was first diagnosed, the endocrinologist who diagnosed me stressed the importance of having a doctor who would treat my symptoms and not my numbers.
I've always found that to be the best advice when dealing with my hypothyroidism. I'd question the doctor to make sure that he will be willing to adjust the medication you're on if your still experiencing symptoms, even if you test out to within normal parameters.0 -
Thanks - I'll keep that in mind0
