Antibiotics and weight gain?

Anyone going through this? Or has and knows how to get the weight off?
I'm in a rough spot and really struggling when it comes to losing weight and part of it is because I've unfortunately been on what feels like a steady antibiotics diet since November.

Medications can increase your appetite, but it's up to you to use moderation. It still comes down to CICO.0

There is no reason why any kind of antibiotic should cause weight gain. If you're gaining weight, it's likely that you're eating more than your maintenance.0

It shouldn't. That said I think you should chat with your Dr. To see if it is safe for you to be trying to loose weight while battling an obviously nasty infection.0

I went through this a few weeks ago with an antibiotic that had to be taken multiple times per day with food. It definitely made the timing of meals very inconvenient, but it still came down to counting my calories. I have about 1600 to play with now, so if yours are less, it would be harder.0
