Best day to do weigh in

Curious if people have suggestions for the best day for me to do my weigh ins based on my schedule. I'm getting varied results because of higher/lower calorie days and timing of fitness.

Sunday: long run (currently in half marathon training; after the race will be marathon training). Also tend to eat back calories on the same day.
Monday: Leg/chest day
Tuesday: tempo runs
Wednesday: back/should day
Thursday: mid-level run
Friday: light job; late night ice hockey (done around midnight)
Saturday: rest

I weigh in everyday, first thing in the morning before hopping into the shower. For tracking purposes though, I only look at my Monday weigh-ins which is actually my worst weight. It keeps me honest that way. I don't do much workout on the weekends but I'm very active and do a lot of walking. I work out on the weekdays and have noticed my weight is the lowest on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I weigh in every day. When you do that, you see patterns emerge.

For example, you'll probably notice that your weight goes up on Monday mornings after your long run on Sunday. That's normal ... probably has something to do with water retention. You may also notice that you have more frequent trips to the toilet on Monday and Tuesday ... and then on Wednesday, you'll hit a new low weight. Or something like that.

After you do that for a few weeks, if you want to go to one weigh-in day a week, you can pick the one you like best.

Everyday (on waking) works for me too. Yes, you will see fluctuations of 1-2lbs in the short term, but if you track your weight using this app you should see a consistent increase/decrease if you're doing things right...

I've read about the problems with the daily weigh in but looking for patterns may be very helpful. I'm currently trying to lose 7 pounds before my race Memorial Day weekend. After the race I'll be dropping the running to three days a week until August when marathon training starts. I think I'd like to have a day of the week where I have a true count of the weight but I don't think my schedule allows for it.
