I am trying to find out how many calories weight training and toning burns. I can't find it anywhere.. I used to to 60 minutes cardio 5 to 7 days a week and I recently started doing 20 minutes weight training / toning and 30 minutes of cardio 4 to 6 days a week. But I can't figure out how to calculate the calories burned for the weight training...anyone???

No such thing as "toning". If you're lifting weights, you're lifting weights. There isn't such a thing as "toning curls". There's just curls (what resistance type you use will denote what kind IE. "barbell" curls).
Conservatively, resistance training for 20 minutes is about 120-150 calories burned.

Depends what kind of weight training you're doing. If you're doing a few gym machines, with few reps and low weight you won't be burning much at all. If you're squatting your body weight then you're burning calories and taking names.0

There are about a million variables involved. Something like running is pretty easy to come up with an equation...someone is going to cover X distance in Y time and have Z stats. Weight lifting is different...your burn is going to be different because there are all kinds of different ways people lift and different intensities, etc. For example, a power lifter is going to have a much different burn from a body builder is going to have a much different burn from someone doing circuit work, etc. Also, someone who is moving more mass is going to burn more than someone just repping out low weights, etc.
About a million more variables that I didn't even mention. You'll just have to play with it...when I did the MFP method, I just chalked it up to earning my protein supplement and that's it. It's probably more than that, but you want to be conservative...and you want to also realize that calorie burn really is a very distant 4th or 5th place (or even lower) in the hierarchy of why lifting is important.0 -
You can look up the METS for various activities but that would depend on what your weight training actually is and if it matches the activity selected.
Not a lot of calories would be my best guess.
That's not being snarky as even proper strength training isn't a lot.0 -
I don't know, but I give myself around 100 calories for 60 minutes of heavy weight lifting. I go low with it, because there is no way to know, really.0
