So I have a heart rate monitor that I have been using, but I noticed that what my watch says to what the machine that I am using (stair master) are off. Which number should I use? Any ideas??

I use a a Polar heart rate monitor with a Polar multisportswatch and always go by its numbers. The machine numbers are consistently higher than my heart rate monitor. It is important that you put your stats correctly into your machine/watch such as age, weight and gender. In general I would go with the lower number, just to be on the safe side.0

The machine might as well be a random number generator for as accurate as that is.0
