A more reasonable goal this time around

Hi, I'm Gabinka.
Back in 2004, I went on my first diet. I was successful. I lost 30 pounds. I went from 140 to 110 in 7 months by counting calories using my OC tendencies as tools. But 110 was the weight I remained effortlessly at when I lived in the Sudeten land in the Czech Republic. I walked most everywhere and a lot of times that was uphill. Heck, I had such good legs by the end, when I took a trip to France, I walked up the first 2 levels of Eiffel Tower, pausing briefly every 2 flights to read the plaques there before moving on.
But a) I was younger then, and in 2004 when I went on that diet and b) I don't live there anymore. I live in the midwest where a car is a necessity as things are too spread apart. I sit at a desk for 8 hours a day. And, let's face it, I sit a lot at home. So sedentary lifestyle. 110 was a constant diet for the rest of my life. I'm going for 125 this time around. So I've got about 22 pounds to lose from where I started. So far, one day in, I'm doing well. I dropped from 147.4 to 145.8. But I know from last time, there is fluctuation no matter how many calories I take in or burn. Hormones can affect my weight. So I won't get discouraged right away if I don't lose one day or if I go up. 147.4 was way too close to 150.

I want to add that I don't just count calories. I budget them. Then I can eat whatever I feel so long as I'm in my budget. I just don't want to live a life where I have to eat all sour or bland things. Strawberries are SOUR to me. They NEED sugar. Tea with no sugar? Impossible. I like waffles with peanut butter and syrup! As long as I have the budget for it, I can eat it.0
