Starting my new journey

Hi, all! I'm forty-seven years old, just over 300 pounds, and am going to try to get back to my weight and health when I was in the Army.
I was in a near-fatal truck accident last year, and am still recovering from that. I've also recently been diagnosed with type II Diabetes, Melanoma, and problems associated with drinking a wee bit much.
I'm jump-starting this with two weeks of low calorie emergency rations, as well as vitamins. I'm hoping this is successful. Good luck to all of you on your journeys, and if anyone wants to be friends for accountability or whatnot, feel free to write!

congratulations on taking the first step.
is your VLCD being monitored by a medical professional? if not, it's really not something that is encouraged.
