Started the 30 day shred yesterday and feel really empowered!! However I'm getting sick, I want to do it tonight, just wondering what y'all think, wouldn't want to sabotage myself or maybe the opposite?? Could working out help you recover a cold?

Are you kidding? It's my perfect excuse not to work out lol! However, I did look it up while I was sick and the interwebz said that neck and above - you're okay to work out, below neck, not so much. So, allergies and cold are a go, bronchitis and flu are a no.0

Depends.
If it's just a small cold, yes I'll work out.
If it's fever, nausea or anything that literally makes me want to crawl into bed and stay in the fetal position, then no.0 -
I just had to take a week off because I had a chest infection and allergies all wrapped into one pretty package. I could barely get out of bed, much less work out.
I'm a firm believer in resting and getting better so that you kick it sooner, rather than trying to be a hero. I always notice that the people who don't take the time out to take care of themselves wind up sicker for longer.0 -
I never do if I'm contagious. Or if I suspect I am.0

I rest my body and allow it to heal.0

30 day shred is a DVD I work out at home. I would never subject someone else to an illness that is possibly contagious. I should have mentioned that in my post.
Thanks everyone for your replies! After giving it a good thought I will still go on and do my work out as I have no other symptoms than a really sore troath. I agree with all of you who say that anything below the neck down should probably not workout and take a rest until you are healed/a flu, infection ect. Thanks again .0 -
Depends what kind of sick. I worked out the other month when I had the flu (at home, people, at home) but that was the cold/cough flu. If I'm nauseated I won't do a thing.0
