21 day fix extreme: after 21 days

Hey guys! Anyone here the 21 day fix extreme? Have you finished it and felt you could still keep to the extreme planning or do you feel the need for a cheat? I only ask because I know on that program you absolutely cannot cheat at all, and I wondered if after it could you have a single cheat meal? Would it throw you off completely? Has anyone actually found that it was hard to keep losing weight with it? I'm just curious.

Save yourself a lot of wasted time and frustration and just do simple calories in, calories out while still eating the foods you like. No need to make this whole thing more complicated than it needs to be.0

Among the many problems of a 21-day extreme fix, is Day 22. I have only a few rules for my personal plan: Number 1 is "don't make a food plan that I can't live with every day forever."0

There have been tons of threads about this diet lately, CICO is the way to go0

no cheats? I couldn't do it. I've eaten this ice cream (frozen yogurt actually - chapman's black jack cherry) every day for the past 86 days and I am down 7 lbs (a smidgen over 0.5 lb loss per week).

Yeah no cheat days sound pretty strict to me. Though I battle with nutrition and portions a lot, I am just hoping I can get into a good rhythm and wondered if this worked for anyone else.0

Good for you - because you made it part of your day! I think deprivation really skews a person's view of food. Make it fit rather than not!0 -
I just eat what feel like while doing the workouts. For others, following the meal plan is their prerogative.. I choose to do the workout on my terms. To be successful you must find a way to stay healthy and indulge. Its not impossible.0

for heaven's sake people it's not a crash diet you stick with for 21 days and presto, your life is perfect. it's a 21 day cycle of workouts and some measuring cups, effectively.
it is a combination of portion control and workouts. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
i'm not doing the extreme but a friend is and she says it's harsh, but no, one "cheat meal" will not make or break you. that is WRONG THINKING. that is thinking that you are "on" a diet and eventually you will be "off" the diet, and if you "cheat" you've screwed everything up... you're doomed to failure with this thinking.
the 21 day fix is the tool. you do the work. you make choices, and you deal with the consequences. if your calorically expensive meal is worth it to you, do it. and move on.0
