5'8" Yes I have been single for years because of it and yes I hate myself for it.

I am 5'8" as well guys, but we need to learn to let go of things we can't control and focus on things we can control.

5'8" is still taller than the average female.

5'8" is still taller than the average female.

It is, but it gets a bit soul destroying after FOUR YEARS of being blocked by people who are 5'1" or 5'2" themselves the moment that they find out your height. I've come to learn that in the eyes of most women, a man under 6ft is deemed complete scum and it's one of the reasons that I'm too scared to even look at them anymore.

You need to stop being so hard on yourself and look at your good points. Women (or men) who would write some one off because of their height are obviously stupid needy creatures that don't deserve your attention. Learn to love yourself a bit more and other people will too. Height isn't important.

I'm 4 11 and have went out with lads my height to well over 6 ft, my hubby is 5 7, so short for a man.

5'11.5" - tall enough to get a lot of "do you play basketball" questions from strangers. lol

    (No. I don't.)

    (Yes - I'm sure I don't play basketball)

(No, I never have - not even in high school)

5'8" and almost the shortest one in my house. Wife is 5'10", two of our sons passed me a long time ago and the 11yo is sitting at 5'3", so it won't be much longer for him.

The middle child and I about a year ago...
