Hey guys,
I'm a long term dieter who's giving My Fitness Pal a serious go. I've been stuck in a loss/gain cycle, mostly while on Slimming World for the past three years.
I joined a Roller Derby team last September and realised just how unfit I was. As SW doesn't really put any emphasis on exercise but I was so hungry after completing around 8 hours of training a week - I decided to can SW and just concentrate on calories in versus calories out.
Last month I got myself a FitBit too and aim now to burn around 1,000 more calories than I eat a day. Roller Derby kills a lot of those calories but on my down days I walk, walk, walk.
I'm also looking out for new friends to help support me in my challenge. I'm a stone down since Christmas, but I've been stuck for a few weeks. I'm willing to return the favour in super enthusiastic support (I'm a very cheery type of person). I have another 4 stone 3lbs to lose (to get me to 11stone, I'll reassess where I am once I'm there!)
Looking forward to chatting with you all!
