Help with side dishes that are low in carbs
Hi everyone! Happy Hump Day! I love to cook and often crave lots of vegetables, some sort of protein, and a carb. I typically shift to roasted potatoes/carrots, mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, etc. I would love some ideas that don't involve potatoes, pasta, or rice, but something that still gives me the feeling that I'm amping up my dinner plate.

If it's not gonna be pure carbs, it'll most likely be more veg or protein. I make mashed 'potatoes' from cauliflower and swedes. But then again, veg is 90% carbs too. You could indeed add bacon, a (dipping) sauce, zucchini noodles or flavorful stuff like olives, cheese, (dried) fruit, nuts.0
