Gained weight back. Im still injured need advice

Hello friends I have weddings coming up and fortunatly there is still time to loose weight to fit in the clothes. I am injured so I cant do my normal weightlifting I have tendonitis in knees and forearms.
I was thinking of doing cardio 3-4 days a week and keep calories deficit whilst keeping protein high.
I will back to weight lifting soon
whats your advice loose weight dont worry about muscle loss I can rebuild the muscle I will look better with low fat and then build the muscle when im healed

    eat less calories than you burn

    So weigh ALL your solid food and measure all your liquids

    Its that simple
