Unfortunately, motivation isn't something anyone can help you with. It has to be internal - you have to decide this is what you're going to do - then do it. You can, absolutely. But you have to decide you can :)

Have a think about why you want to lose weight. Is it to be healthier? Is there a special occasion or a big birthday coming up? Perhaps you're simply unsatisfied with things as they are.
My first attempt at weight watchers was motivated by wanting to be thinner than my sister on her wedding day. I did that, looked great, kept the weight off for a while and then slipped into bad habits and gained back the weight with interest.
This is attempt #2 and the motivation this time around is much simpler. I didn't want to get to 40 feeling fat & frumpy. I wanted to be fit and fabulous. Here's what I've learned so far.
    • It's going to take some effort to get it done, some days will be better than others and there'll be times when you feel like giving up.
      • Be patient. It can be a slow journey. You probably didn't gain the weight in a month so, don't expect it to melt away in two.
      • Be kind to yourself. Reward the successes and try not to get weighed down when progress is slow or there are a few gains on the scales. You'll get there if you stay on track.
      • Make sure you measure yourself and take photos along the way. Sometimes it's seeing how far I've come that gives me the boost I need to keep at it.
Best of luck for the road ahead and feel free to add me as a friend if you want an extra on your cheer squad.

I found setting goals and working towards them the best. Have weekly and monthly goals. It seems so much easier to loose 5kg/10pounds than 50kg/100pounds. Recognise you will have ups and downs but if you keep at it it will eventually work.

I personally found making a vision board worked wonders for me. I am slowly ticking off everything on my list.
