Ideal breakfast before long day of Cheerleading?

Hey guys! Tommorow I have a very long day ahead of me! I have Cheerleading practice from 8am til 5pm! We are having our choreographer come in so that means a day filled with stunting, dancing and tumbling. My question is, what should I eat for breakfast in the morning? I will have to eat at around 7am and my coach will probably only feed us lunch and that won't be until about 12 (just guessing!) I'm used to eating breakfast that early because of school, but during school I would usually get hungry around 10:45am, and that's just with me sitting in a desk!

So, do you guys have any recommendation?

Around 110 pounds. I'm a little nervous about eating a large breakfast and feeling like a stuffed sausage during practice though! Haha

you don't have to eat a large breakfast.

    eat through the day.

if you eat at 7 your stomach should settle.

bananas, eggs, oj, sausage, protein shake, milk(do not have the same time as OJ).

    would be fine

Eat what & how much you would like and normally eat. Then, I would pack some cheese sticks or sliced apples, almonds- anything that you can eat fast during water breaks or transitions between drills.

Eat a couple of hard boiled eggs with a small amount of fruit and a slice of toast with butter.

Do they provide Gatorade? If not, I'd get some for the day. That stuff used to be my lifeblood for endurance events.
  • You don't need to eat a huge amount, but be sure to stay hydrated and eat throughout the day if you start feeling light-headed. Pack a sports drink (Gotta get those electrolytes!), and a granola bar to eat between cheers if you think there will be enough time. As for breakfast, don't eat too much or you'll feel bloated and gross. I'd go with some fresh fruit and yogurt, or you could make a smoothie or fruit parfait. Anyways, gave fun! Kudos to you for doing this.

I`m a cheerleader also and I find anything majorly carb filled in the morning weighs me down, especially with tumbling. I usually have a fruit smoothie which is super filling and a side of some toast or cereal, nothing huge.
