Is it healthy to lose 3 pounds in three days?
What kind of weight? Fat? Probably not possible. If you are talking about a pound per day for a long period of time...only if you die.
This is a weird question though. What is so special about three pounds and why three days? It's not like you will notice three pounds.0 -
i assume you're talking about a weight loss you just recently noticed on the scale. so it could have been water weight. and to that note, if you're on your cycle, it's normal to gain a few or so pounds (in retained water) and lose them as soon as your cycle ends.0

but you can also lose water weight for other reasons, i.e. if you start drinking more water regularly, which sounds counterintuitive but it's true, because your body is not longer trying to hold onto water by retaining it because it's getting it regularly as it should.

I once did the lime cayenne concoction for 3 days and lost 5 pounds. I had a headache for the first day but i looked great at the party I was attending
I don't think that short of a time frame would do damage to your metabolism.0 -
I lost three pounds in three days for no good reason, i have been working out for 4 months now and this never happened, its not period or anything like that. And I have always been good with my water intake.0
