just wondering if people use there exercise Kcal or just stick to 1200?

the MFP method is designed to eat back exercise
the calorie allowance is NEAT so it's your BMR plus your stated activity level excluding exercise based on the goal you've given it
then you exercise on top and you eat them back
be careful of MFP database it overestimates for many - best to start by eating back 50- 75% and judge by your weight loss over time
but yes - eat them - have a wide, enjoyable and varied diet and you will be able to commit for life, go deprivation and you'll crash and burn0 -
