Best food item to catch fish with?

If it was a Maryland blue crab I'd say a chicken neck or a bull's lip. Small silver fish. . .I'm thinking of a large net, scoop and pull. Good luck.0

They are small silver fish I also think there are small redish ones with spikey fins. The corn with breadcrumbs sounds awesome!
Hmm, Roach then, and the ones a spiky fin's a Perch. Both really common freshwater fish in our part of Europe.
Roach *love* hemp (usually nicked it off the big hooks when I was baiting for carp...) and Perch are predators, so worms/maggots do the trick.
Interesting choice in catches; they're not normally targets around here (Roach are kinda cute though, but really, really slimy )0 -
