New to fitbit, also use Runtastic

I know this has been mentioned on here before but i can never find it. I just got a Fitbit Charge HR yesterday. I also use Runtastic or the Runtastic's Road Bike apps when I go outside for a walk/run or bike ride. I want to make sure I'm doing all this correctly as far as syncing.
I have Runtastic syncing to MFP. I also have MFP and Fitbit connected. If I were to go out for a walk tonight, I would hit the "start exercise" button on my Fitbit, and also start my walk on Runtastic?
