I have a significant amount of weight to lose, and set my goal at 2 lbs. a week. However, the last few days I have been under my calorie goal. I haven't been hungry through the day, and have ended up with a lot of calories left over at the end of the day. I don't work out until late at night, and by the time I am done I have about 900-1000 extra calories. (I start at about 1500, and then adjust to whatever my fitbit and MFP say I should eat. Yesterday I believe it was 2300 or more).
I know you are supposed to eat your calories so that your body doesn't adjust to using less. How many calories under do you think is safe? I don't want to pack down another 1000 calories when I am not hungry.

It really depends... If you have a 'significant' amount of weight to lose you can probably safely average higher than 2 pounds for a while. I think the guideline is 1% or 2 pounds, whichever is greater.0
