How do i track calories using FitBit

Hi. I have linked My MFP account and FitBit Flex Activity tracker..
What i want to do is set my MFP food diary goals to 0. and let my FitBit tracker log my full days of calories burned according to my activity.
So i want my FitBits full day of calories burned as my MFP goal, as a starting point, Instead of the FitBit calorie adjustment that only seems to log around 400-500 cals..
Is this possible? Maybe im doing something wrong? Any advice welcome
