I am not super ready for this, but I signed up for it. I did 5 miles on Saturday but my knees were not liking me. Hopefully all holds up. Tough getting old.

When are you signed up for? What is the close out time?
Don’t push your body in training past what it can handle. There is no shame in getting into the run, enjoying the experience, and then walking portions of it.
There is shame in pushing yourself too hard during training and not going to the run. Or doing the run and injuring yourself and not being able to meet your fitness goals because you jumped the shark.

Well, it is done. I finished the 10k. It wasn't great, but it will do. Finished in 1:03, I am happy with that. I hope to do a :54 next year.0
