So basically what I do is 20-10 minutes of dancing latin dance or hip hope dance, what about you, what kind of exercise do you do and was it helpful?

Fat loss comes from what and how much you eat.

Activity/exercise is about fitness (strength, cardio, mobility, etc.).

So, short answer, I do a combination of exercises to address multiple fitness goals (because I’ve been training for years). But none of these have any thing to do with my fat loss goal.

I stuck to a calorie deficit to lose fat. I lifted heavy to save muscle and have (what I consider to be) a better looking body. Once in awhile I did cardio...to eat more.

    this is what i do.

I am also an ex-competitive gymnast so i enjoy gymnastic style conditioning, stretching, tumbling, and trampoline work as well. Working my grip strength and hands (which have like 0 calluses now) back up to do bar work.

    Anyone can be :)

Many local gyms offer "adult classes" in which you can learn the very basics. Things like: handstands, rope climbs, wall walks, cartwheels, flip-flops (back handsprings), arials, front and back tucks, splits, leaps, etc.

They usually start out the adult classes with stretching, conditioning (specifically for these moves), and then work their way up skill wise. It's pretty awesome, because it's a great workout, fun, you get to do things most people never do, you can show off at parties, and you can do it in an environment that is NON-pressure oriented. No one is pushing you to give up your life for the gym to train full time or compete. heehee :)

I've actually never seen a class like that! I have to admit, the thought of even trying to do a back handspring scares the crap out of me.

first they start you out on the pacman and you practice just rolling from feet to hands to feet.

Then you get the octogon to practice without the sitting position (like the cut out on pacman)-

Then the cheese mat with a spotter it's sloped downward-

;) It's all really safe and I can teach newbies their flip flops within 5-6 weeks.

Hi cuteyyoona I do lots of hip hop dancing and I think it really does work and I find it really fun . I also do freestyle dance to express my feelings and that feels great and works really well.

I am also an ex-gymnast. I miss it terribly, so I have started a workout series incorporating gymnastics-inspired moves. Thus far on my YouTube channel I've got "Warm-Up Like a Gymnast", "Stretch Like a Gymnast", and a handstand drill (with modifications for non-gymnast) for core and shoulder strength. I am going to post more videos where I "gymnast-ify" common fitness exercises like squats, lunges to make them more interesting and fun. I hope all former gymnasts and all who want to incorporate more gymnastics into your workout enjoy these videos. If the link below doesn't show up, just go to YouTube and search "WorkoutWednesday by GreenEyedGuide". https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=PL1LXzRId5sP4_z5n5x4THIY0kLL0HiK5P

Oooh. That sounds fun. Which I was gymnastically inclined.

I love love love shoulder touchies, although i usually cartwheel to handstand so my face is facing the wall that way i can roll out. ;)

I am currently developing a series too because it seems like there is a lot of interest yet not very much out there! :)

edited to add: sometimes we were instructed to touch our thigh instead of shoulders, so they were more like leg slaps. hahaha

I love dancing and do it whenever I have time. I also do Zumba sometimes. Most of exercise is gardening and yard/farm work, but I do all kinds of things - hiking, bike riding (when I can find the time), Brazil Butt Lift, resistance bands, kettlebells, dumbbells, bodyweight exercises, walk on the treadmill, step aerobics.

All of this has been very, very helpful. I love to eat and have a sedentary desk job, so I'm sure I'd be as big as a house without it.
