You are very confused! No food "helps" with weight loss - eating less calories than you burn each day will do that. But those calories can come form anywhere.0

Calorie deficit.0

Cardio exercise is the best fat burner.0
-
The treadmill, eliptical, jump rope, hills, stationary bike, road bike, running shoes, stairs, calisthenics, weight lifting, jogging etc. are all good fat burners.0

When it comes to weight loss, it is a basic yet confusing formula: in order to loose weight you must burn more calories a day than you take in. With this being said the average calorie intake for someone to take in is approximately 1,500-2,500. This all depends on gender, weight loss goal, and type of exercises you are preforming. Your body needs a set amount of calories during the day to function and main energy. Your BMR (Basal metabolic rate) is the amount of calories your body burns at rest. So as long as you intake enough calories (good energy filled calories) to keep your body in motion and you maintain a daily exercise routine (which can be anything from walking for 30 minutes to a HIIT cardio or weight lifting or playing a pick up game at the park, you will loose weight. It is a hard concept to overcome but you DO have to eat enough to maintain energy but you don't want to eat too much where your body will store excess fat and carbohydrates.0

There is no good that helps burn fat. Eat less calories than you need and your body will be forced to use its saved energy (fat).0

No magic food, eat less than your maintenance and you lose weight Kappa0

While no food has a secret ingredient or component to make fat disappear, your appetite's reaction to food can vary. For me, virtually no amount of starchy food satisfies my appetite. I can eat a gargantuan amount of enriched bread, rice & pasta, and still want more. If I do so, it's harder to get myself to stop eating, and I'm more likely to eat in the next hour.
But say I can eat a half cup or a cup of ice cream, and then I can not feel the desire to eat unnecessary food for a few hours.
I can end up consuming less calories by eating ice cream after dinner vs not having a dessert that satisfies my appetite and thus I'll end up going back for seconds or thirds an hour or 2 later.
Appetite control is a big part of reducing the number of calories you consume, and observing how much of what food that leaves of satisfied can help you maintain the calorie deficit needed for weight loss.0 -

Calorie deficit is what burns fat, especially at rest and sleep.

Raw veggies like peppers, cucumber and carrots often burn more cals through digestion than you get from eating them...... just saying......0

Exercise.
Expending more energy than you consume in calories.
Speaking as someone who, on his weight-loss journey, spent hundreds on completely unnecessary supplements (fat burners, endothermic metabolism boosters, etc.), they're total crap. I promise.
If you really do want something that'll help your weight-loss journey without breaking the bank, try adding green tea to your diet. It's been proven to aid in metabolism, is loaded with antioxidants, and is just healthy for you, overall.0 -

fork put downs and table push aways...
there is no particular food that burns fat...fat is just stored energy...calories are a unit of energy...when you consume more calories than you need to support your existence and other activities and stats then that energy is stored as body fat. When you consume less energy than you require, your body burns stored energy (body fat) to make up the difference.
That is all...it is that simple.0 -

I don't think that's what he means...0 -
The best fat burner is getting your butt to the gym to burn the fat!0

Some people say that green tea can help support your body's process of burning fat. Which does not mean it will magically make you lose weight, but that it can be a healthy part of your CICO eating plan which may or may not actually show any effects that are visible.
It's also believed that raw celery is net 0 (or even negative!) calories because it's hard to digest. I think it's a good ingredient to add you salads to increase how full you feel. It's not reasonable or probably healthy to eat enough of it to put that 0-calories property to use in any meaningful way.0 -

Unfortunately, "negative calorie" food is a myth. All foods have some bioavailable calories.
Raw veggies do have the benefit of being low in calories and high in fiber, which can give satiety to those whose overeating bugbears are constant nibbling or volume eating.0 -

Good to know. It is nice to stretch chili or salads a bit with so few calories, but I've always logged it because deep down the 0-calorie thing just seemed too good to be true!
At least I haven't gone on some insane celery binge in an attempt to eat away the fat! Just from a common-sense standpoint that seemed crazy to me.0 -
Caffeine, because it stimulates you thus making you workout harder/better.0
