Losing weight using MFP when not overweight

Hello All,
Need some advice.
I lost nearly 6 kgs using MFP. Now my BMI is 25.2, only teeny tiny still in overweight category. I need to bring my weight down, especially as I suffer from hypertension. (Dr's orders)
MFP requires me to eat atleast 1200 calories and says that my weight loss would be 0.3 kg/week, which I think is really slow.
Seriously, I had an easier time losing weight when I was overweight.
How do you lose weight when not overweight, and I mean it should be at least 0.5 kg/week.
I workout regularly, but eat back the calories.
Should I not eat back the calories? Should I resort to TDEE (I find it quite complex.)?
Would love to get some advice.
Also, please add me if you are in the same boat.
One more thing, my diary is not open, so don't get frustrated, please.
I am just looking for general advice from people in the same boat.
Hope you have a great day!
Best,
Sayali.

The same way you lose weight when you're not - you cut your calories and move more
the less you have to lose the lower your cut should be and slower your loss to help preserve your LBM - so 0.5lb - 1lb is plenty fast enough
Speed is not that great for weight loss - and a minimum of 1200 is for nutritional balance
Yes you should eat back exercise calories if following MFP method.
You can do a cut from TDEE if you prefer (but keep it low cut)
these two methods should work out the same0 -
tighten down on logging (if you refuse to open your diary most of us will assume you are not weighing your food correctly)
the less you have to lose the harder it is and the longer it takes
eat back at least half of your exercise calories0 -
You should eat at least 1200 calories, but since that doesn't give you the calorie deficit you desire, you should exercise without eating to replace those calories.0
