It has taken 4.5 months. But I've finally lost 40 pounds. More importantly, I have finally arrived in One-derland. Today the scale read 199.4 pounds. I was in shock. I had to re-weigh myself 2 more times to believe it. I had been in the 200-205 range for what feels like forever.
I know it's just a number, but you know what? It. Feels. Awesome!
I've still got about 20 pounds to my goal. I just wanted to share. It will happen. You can do it. Just stay focused everyday on hitting your daily calorie goal.

Congrats!! I remember the feeling when I went from double figures (in stones... so 10 stone something), to 9 stone something and that felt like more of an achievement than the 2 and a half stone I'd already lost to be honest
!

Thanks for the cheers! I hope my small victory helps keep you motivated. You can achieve your goals. It may take time. Don't push too hard and burn out. Don't give up on a bad day.
There's been days in which I went over my calories, sometimes by a lot.
There's been days in which I've gone to sleep a little hungry.
There's been days in which I wanted nothing more than to scarf down French fries instead of a salad.
I just told myself, I can do it. I want to be "lighter" more than I wanted those fries. That I could hold out until breakfast. That I could make up the over days by portioning out tomorrow better.0 -
That is SO great to hear... Woot!0
