Sleep Problems anyone?

I started a fitness "boot camp" this week. I work the overnight shift and about the only time I can go is right after work. The problem is, when I get done I'm mentally wired for the day. Physically I can barely move, but my mind won't shut down and I end up with one or two hours of sleep. Definitely not enough. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did for it.

I'm not sure what kind of sleeping ritual you do, but sometimes reading helps calm me down. Also, a sleep aid tablet can help. Oddly enough, the sleep aid and a run of the mill allergy pill have exactly the same active ingredients. They take about an hour to kick in for me, and it helps a lot.
You are a big guy...when I weighed 290 I could take two, but now at 245 two knocks me out too hard and it's tough to get up.0 -
I occasionally suffer from insomnia. I know it can be a serious problem but I do not have an answer for you. Here is a good article on sleep though
