It's shockingly expensive. I'd stick to a regular protein powder and another source for high quality probiotics if that's what you're looking for.
  • I do GNC lean protein 25 right now it's $45 the skinny gut is $30 I believe. Is there a nice alternative for a decent price? I use my shakes to replace two meals a day.

    What's it supposed to do?

It appears to just be overpriced protein powder with added vegetables. If you need more protein and vegetables, you could just eat them.

On Amazon, the Skinny Gut is $28. For 10 servings. That's $2.80 per shake.

I get Pure Protein at Wal-Mart for $19. For 22 servings. That's just under $1 per shake.

You could also make your own shakes with greek yogurt and veggies, add a little protein powder if you want sweetness and/or a protein boost.

Do you prefer all that meal replacement? I'd go crazy at the lack of textural variety, personally.
  • Thanks peachyplum! I'll check that out! & ewjlang I should do that as well. I usually throw a banana in my lean protein shakes. I eat a good high protein supper & do my shakes for breakfast & lunch. I like it, I've gotten use to it. (: makes me full & feels good on my stomach!
